Quick Service Restaurant Mushroom Patty

Our Customer, with over 400 QSR American-restaurants across three continents, had initially partnered with a high profile London Chef to develop its first vegan burger.

The initial recipe produced a vegan patty using unique preparation methods and inspired blending of ingredients.  The resulting burger was complex, and construction relied upon a team of skilled chefs. The Innovate NPD Team were introduced to work closely with the Project Chef to adapt his recipe to fit a factory environment and manufacture to large scale.

We reduced the amount of ingredients; found substitutes for some and new suppliers for others, without changing taste and texture of the burger. Multiple recipes and samples were developed and shared between USA and UK to ensure complete satisfaction before proceeding to launch production.

UK launched in 2021 it exports from our factory in Fife to restaurants in the Gulf States and Asia with expansion plans for worldwide distribution.
