CSR

We recognise that our social, environmental, and ethical conduct has an impact on our reputation as a business. We, therefore, take our corporate social responsibilities seriously and are committed to advancing our policies and operations across the business to ensure we address and monitor all aspects of CSR that are relevant to our company. These include good ethical behaviour, concern for employee health and safety, care for the environment, and community and industry best-practice involvement. We have an active community outreach policy and regularly host school and further education field visits.

Innovate Foods is committed to applying the highest standards of integrity, honesty and fairness in its business activities all over the world. A zero-tolerance approach is taken towards bribery and corruption in all its forms. The directors and senior management are committed to implementing and enforcing effective procedures to prevent, monitor and eliminate bribery in accordance with the UK Bribery Act 2010.

We are also committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.

Environmental impact and sustainability is always on our minds at Innovate and that is why we have implemented a long-term approach to minimising our carbon footprint. Initiatives include recycling of food waste and packaging, and deployment of energy reducing plant and lighting. As well as water management strategies and backhauling for customer fulfillment logistics.

 

Quality

At Innovate Foods we adopt a strict policy of continuous achievement in our approach to quality. We continue to achieve an AA+ Grade against the measure of the BRC Global Food Standard. Notwithstanding this, our business is rigorously audited on an ongoing basis by our clients’ quality departments and is consistently found to be of superior quality. This commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and quality is recognised in our extremely low (virtually none) customer complaints.
